UVAGGIO ROSSO, 2022, Columbia Valley CABANICO
We Sourced the Aglianico a southern Italian grape varietal, from the Gresswell Vineyards near
Sunnyside WA. The Cabernet Sauvignon came from the Bangsund Vineyards in the Chenowith side
of W. Dalles OR. The result is a 55% Aglianico and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon we call Cabanico.
(Cabernet -Aglianico) In the nose you will find aromas of dark fruits and ripe cherries. The tannins are
soft and there is a core of acidity that lingers. Cabanico is a fun wine, it can be enjoyed with burgers,
ribs, grilled meats, sausages, very versatile. Aged 10 months in the barrel and 6 months in the bottle,
this wine is ready for your enjoyement.
